On Saturday, March 4th, the University of Southern Mississippi English Graduate Organization in partnership with the Mississippi Humanities Council and the Hattiesburg Arts Council hosted a Reading and Reception featuring Mississippi Poet Laureate Beth Ann Fennelly at Oddfellows Gallery. This event concluded the 2017 Bodies of Work Conference. Pictured are conference organizers Emily Martin, Dr. Thomas Holmes, Mississippi Poet Laureate Beth Ann Fennelly, Dr. Emily Stanback, Mary Stephens, and Dr. Max Macpherson. The event is put on by the University of Southern Mississippi’s English Graduate Organization (EGO) and Center for Writers (C4W). Both are working together to put on the conference to showcase creative and scholarly work on March 3-4.
